An Uphile light is the result of a meeting between a lighting intention, selected wood species, a unique design, and the artisan’s hand guided by the spirit behind the creation.

We offer two types of services: bespoke/repair of lighting creation, and consultation on how to illuminate a space.

Bespoke lighting creation

Our strength lies in listening and imagination.
Time is our ally in this dialogue with you.
We imagine and craft personalized pieces for you.

This service may include:

selecting the model best suited to your space (wall-mounted, floor-standing, sconce, tabletop...);
adjusting dimensions, orientation, or mounting systems;
choosing the wood species;
applying custom finishes.

All our lamps are designed for LED bulbs (max. 8 W), connected or not.

Each light is carefully checked before shipping.
It is signed and numbered.

Repair of Uphile lighting fixtures

Uphile lighting fixtures are built to last, but accidents can happen. Uphile offers an out-of-warranty repair service for its lights, whenever technically feasible.

This repair is subject to a prior quote, based on a detailed description (photos of the damage, etc.), or, where applicable, after inspection of the returned product. Shipping costs for both directions are borne by the customer.

This service remains subject to technical feasibility, particularly in cases of structural damage or unavailability of components or wood species. A discussion between you and Uphile may sometimes lead to alternative solutions.

Lighting consultation for your space

Based on your lifestyle and your needs, Uphile helps you imagine how to decorate your space with wood and light, and turn it into a place that resonates with your way of living.

We offer guidance before the design stage—independent of any purchase obligation.

This service may include:

immersion in the space: volumes, materials, and layout;
discussions about your wishes and the desired lighting atmosphere, the role of light in the overall composition of the space;
concrete suggestions regarding color temperature, light direction, and source distribution.

This guidance may lead to a custom light—or not.
It can also inform your future choices.
It is part of a commitment to clarity, precision, and respect for the life you envision in your space.
