Ideas are born in mysterious ways.
Often from wonder, from an emotion, from the meeting of two things that, at first glance, seem to have nothing in common.

Last year, I watched a yellow-and-black butterfly fluttering among the flowers. I noticed that the pattern of its wings looked like an upside-down heart. The light carried by that butterfly inspired me, and my thoughts took flight - like it -toward the design of a lamp I could create and offer to my partner, who loves butterflies so much.
In secret, I traced outlines, built templates, crafted models.
This is how Pétale was born: a wall sconce whose heart-shaped forms also evoke flower petals. One evening, it lit up before the tender eyes of my beloved.
She spoke of it so often, and our friends did too, that she finally told me it would be unfair to keep it just for us.
The unique piece remains hers. But today, I present a new version enriched with original Breton weaves, through which the light filters softly, like the wings of the butterfly that inspired me.
Pétale now joins the Uphile collection, offered in contrasting woods and weaving variations to match your interior.
In your home, it will be at once a heart, a flower, and a butterfly of light — to accompany your precious moments.
