Torche is a dual-purpose piece: it lights, and it welcomes.

Slender and vertical, it casts light both upward and downward, while offering two horizontal shelves—balanced planes on which to place a personal object, a book, a stone, a moment of silence.

Sculptural and functional, Torche is designed to reveal a wall and give it presence. It rises without ostentation, yet with strength. The proportions are bold, the lines taut, the wood selected with exacting care. Light reflects, expands, and accompanies—never dominating.

Torche is conceived and handmade in our workshop in Brittany. The inner structure housing the light sources is crafted from walnut or beech, in harmony with the wood chosen for the façades. It pairs beautifully with Flambeau and Croisade.

However, the workshop’s schedule and wood availability may affect this timeframe. After your order, you will receive a personalized estimate for the start and completion of your Uphile lamp. During the process, we will keep you informed of its progress.

Each Uphile lamp, based on a registered original design, is signed and numbered.
